Unless you have been hiding under a rock or completely cut off from the rest of the world, the wsop in Las Vegas is in full swing as of this moment. So, to catch you up to speed in a nutshell, there are a few changes that affect patrons - anything from a shortage of dealers to long lineups for registration and other casinos shutting down their poker rooms. Oh and don't forget your mask!

Sadly I am not surprised by what I read. While being short on dealers is a bit of the norm during the WSOP I found the poker room closings to be more disturbing. While someday I believe life will go back to the new normal, what effects and changes will we need to live through? I know some poker rooms will survive its does sadden me so many are gone. My first and play live win was at planet Hollywood casino. While it used to have 18 table and nice daily tournaments last time I went it was a sad shell of itself. Oh well.

While I do wish I could go this year to the WSOP, I am lucky i guess to not be there with all the issues. Still I wish I could go.

I had already noticed the minimum table limits being increased when I was in Vegas in April and also at the closest local casino I go to once a month.

Gone are $5 tables just about everywhere.
