Yes it was really a crazy hand and there was no possiblity to anticipate this showdown.
Fortunatly it was not a big pot and you did manage to get ITM, otherwise it would have been really bad luck

Not much you can do here in these cooler type situations at least MP2 was short stacked and you could continue in the game after this hand.

The runout is obviously a little crazy with him making first a better boat than yours and then quads on the river to sort of rub it in. But to quote Doyle Brunson poker is not about winning or losing. Its about making the right decisions. And in this hand I think, betting full pot on the flop is to much. When UTG has checked to you, he most likely has some marginal hand like AK or JJ, and when you bomb the flop, he is just going to fold those hands. This is especially true in this hand, because when a third guy is already all-in, you cant really bluff into a dry side pot, since you still need to beat him at showdown to win. So you always have at minimum top pair, when you take this line, and since this is very transparent, you are almost forcing your opponent to play well :)
