UNTIL 2009, when casinos were allowed in Russia, played 2 times in the tournament, maybe 50-60 people, in St. Petersburg, the first time I flew out early, and the second time I realized that it would not last long, but a whole eternity, I was tired and after 2 hours I didn't play, missed distributions, went to a bar, drank juice, ate a sandwich and went home before finishing the tournament, especially since my friends called me asking where I was, but I didn't want to say what's in the casino 😄

I have played several small live tournies then won a ticket to a WPT event 1500 runners $3500 buy-in----It was a 5 day event I made it ITM but busted on day 3. The days are long you have to pace yourself. The players have a little more fear of going broke live than online. Harder to think and work the chips so if you can practice at home handling chips counting out bet sizes that kind of thing it will help

I got to play a 500 person tournament in my small city, we have a huge casino.
Live is WAY different than online. I actually had an awesome player next to me who actually pointed out a couple tells I had that I didn't know.
Super kind gentleman, I placed 9th, he came 2nd. Me and him have played together for a couple years now, but he passed about 3 months ago.
You'll find a lot of players who get mad at online players style, but there are the rare gems who understand when you're newer to live play.
