i have always played live poker but usually only in vegas, detroit, tampa, miami... however i spend the majority of my time in chicago, so i play mostly online to supplement. US online poker seems to get shadier every day, so now i have to drive out of this beautiful city every day and drive to some shithole in indiana 35 mins away... it is upsetting... - looks like chicago may be getting casinos soon, but .. i'm sure i will be gone by then... i just have such a hard time swallowing that i have to commute to a casino and can't play in my own home in the "land of the free" - hello indiana... ugh...

Wow, I wish I had a place to play live that was only 35 min away! Live poker is so much more fun than online. I have to drive 3.5 hours to get to the casino, so I have to settle for online. You should count yourself the lucky one! :)

Same here. 4.5 to 5.5 hours for me with traffic and parking problems as well. Thank goodness for online poker and Cardschat.

I live only 1½ hours from two casinos. I never go there for the day to play poker, so I only play when on vacation...that way, the drive doesn't matter. If I was 35 minutes away from a casino, I'd be broke by now.
