When you play live poker the person who bet has to show cards first. The caller can show their cards or muck their cards.

In order to see the cards you must ask the dealer before they are mucked that they be shown to everyone.

This is considered very "grosseiro"

In live poker friendly nice games make you more money. If you ask to see cards the players may stop playing or ask that you stop playing. They may start playing better hands and calling you less.
