Seat Position

Do you have a favorite position to sit at when playing at a casino. This I guess would be limited to the elongated tables. I like corner position because of the elbow room but mostly because I can see all the players better. Sometimes a move or expression may signal something. At my house we draw cards for position because a few people try to position themselves right or left of same people all the time.

I'n the same - with live casinos I like a corner seat. However, when playing online I prefer to sit at the bottom of the screen.

I like to be just at the end of the row - where the table curves but not on the edge. I'm partially deaf, so in particularly loud casinos I do need to lipread and I find that this position is the best place for me to be able to see all players without looking around too much. It also has the slightly extra room that the ends of the table provide.

Definitely bottom of screen online. Never played live yet, so don't know but would like to try at least once to see how it feels to play a person eye to eye.

I like the 10 Seat. Don't know why but I seem to always get the best cards when I slip bills in the dealers pocket

Depends on convenience, favourite number, and the vision factor of near and far-sightedness. I have excellent vision but still carry a set of reading glasses for bad angles and long-distance viewing.

I feel comfortable next to the dealer.
That gives me access to a lot of things.
Like telling the dealer of a raise, or asking a doubt or calling the waitress etc...

Just convenience.

Doesnt make a difference to the game.

I prefer to sit directly in front of the dealer so I do not have to bring my distance glasses to the table. At the far ends of the table, I have trouble reading the suits especially and have made playing errors because of that. I usually bring my reading glasses to the table...if I sit at the end of the table, it is such a hassle to keep switching glasses.

I like to sit in the corner seats 3 and 7 at a nine handed table. Online I like to be on the bottom of the screen in the middle.

I like to play on seat 9 or to the right of the dealer. Makes it easy to shuffle chip w/right hand and have the cards dealt from the left side. When mucking the cards you just have to push them over the line since the dealer is right there.

I prefer side seat, because I can observe every players and them stacks at the table on one glance, without turning the head. I like to be gentle.
