Haven't been there since 2015...took my son for his 21st birthday, so I wanted to make the stay about more than just
gambling...we went to Red Rock Canyon 3 days, including a day of rock climbing with ropes, etc ($400 plus tip for two). The whole atmosphere of the hotel is more family and laid back, so I guess the poker players are more casual as well. I would certainly recommend staying at Red Rock...the food was good in most restaurants, the buffet was OK, but it has a movie theater and bowling alley in the hotel...and $5
blackjack tables. It took a while to get a $1-2 poker table going, and often played short-handed (weekdays).
