How does everyone feel about taking notes for self analysis in a cash game?
Last week I went back to regular live cash game play with the intention of adding a diary of my play for self improvement for the hands I was involved in. What I found was that very soon after a hand, I'd lose track of the the nuanced thought processes I had for the hands I was involved in. After a few hours everything was a jumbled mess and not good for self analysis at all.
I found the following blog entry on the subject. http://jonathanlittlepoker.com/how-i...e-poker-table/ . His template is used for tourneys which I would modify for cash. Ideally, I would want to go digital in the end so I could just type it in on my phone. It would be faster and cleaner that way.
I think as long I was up front with the table with what I am doing and not slowing down play, that this should be alright. If you play low limits live and would be against this, I'd be very interested to know why.
Guaranteed, you'll either win or lose, so it's 50-50. -Philthy
