It seems like there is already some controversy coming from the first day of the wsop, as a lot of players are unhappy with the new cards. They are designed to be easier for players read their hole cards and make it tougher for others to see them. But apparently most of the trouble comes from reading the cards on the board, as the 6's and 9's are very hard to tell apart and have resulted in a number of players misreading their hands and losing chips.
There seem to be a lot of people upset about this, so I think it's a pretty safe bet that the cards will be changed sooner rather than later, and almost certainly before the Main Event in July. Hopefully anyone from CC planning to play in the WSOP won't have to deal with this issue!

Perhaps the best part of this whole thing is that the cards also include the signature of Jeffrey Pollack, the WSOP Commisioner on the back of the cards, but his name is mis-spelled...classic!
