Hello Guys!

What do you think would be the NEW NORMAL for LIVE POKER when poker rooms re-open especially for those countries which are still closed at this time?

Here in the Philippines, casinos are still closed until now since the quarantine started.

I believe that everyone with a mask and casinos should test people before entering the establishment and make enough gel alcohol available for chips and hands.

Here in my country we don’t have casinos, but we do have poker clubs. They are closed since March and probably is going to take a few more months to reopen, but when they do reopen, I think the use of masks is going to be mandatory as putting enough space between one player and the other. And of course, hand cleanser in the entry and in all the tables.

Casinos open in Vegas but only about a quarter of the poker rooms are open. All are doing temperature checks and require masks. Some rooms are spread 5 handed and others 6 handed with plexiglass. I haven't returned I don't know if its safe. There is fear of them shutting down again.

The new normal will be extremely careful with respect to taking all the necessary precautions to prevent exposure to Covid-19...masks, hand sanitizers, spacing out, so no full tables, no food at the tables.

The new security measures to perform live poker, according to the law, are dividing panels to avoid contact between players, biosecurity measures at all times until entering the room, and many others.

They will surely reduce the capacity of the rooms and very possibly with 4 or 5 players per table at most. Who knows if they come with a new type of material for cards apart from all current biosafety protocols.

Hopefully this new normal is not here for too long... I mean we're all praying for a safe and affordable vaccine.

Hello. To me, players will have less chance to catch anything from cold, flu or other things that creepy crawl.

Hi!

I don’t think they would open it again anymore because here’s the second wave and they say it’s more dangerous for young people. And there are a lot of young players at the tables. I think they wait for the vaccine and only then open it. Or if the virus disappears.

Hi!

Hi!

Then the big tournaments won’t work where 10,000 people start. There are basically a lot of tables out there and if they can’t sit at the table with only 4 at 5 then you’ll need double as many tables. You may have to put the tournament out to one of the airports because there is room for so many tables and you will not be kept indoors. :)

the poker came back live, excellent the bad thing is that I cannot travel, in my country everything is not normal yet, we continue with the restrictions for the community that is in ´proximity with each other to avoid contagion

Haven't played live poker after covid. Interesting to see how it is going to be. Lot of of travel restrictions still in many countries so i guess we won't see any major tournaments for awhile

Whatever it is, I think I'm going to wait until the new normal goes back to the old normal before I go back to the card rooms.

The whole masks and constant hand sanitizer thing is a bit much. I'd rather just stay at home and play online if that's my choice :)

Good luck to everyone getting in there and battling it out!

Well` in my opinion I think online poker gained so much crowd since the beggining of the virus. Also, I like it. Tourneys are more interesting, huge boost of players in the 2.20$ builders on stars(max that i play).

max 7 players and plexiglass between every player and dealer is Helsinki casino's answer to maintaining play.

I hope everything returns to normal in all aspects, as it was before I liked it more than everyone in chaos
