I'm got describe my first experience ... I confess that I had a little fear or anxiety, but, my performance turned out to be very good in my view, finishing in 6th (bubble limit: /). but tell me, how were your first experiences?

I played with me in the city where I was born, the entrance was about 50 euros with 45 players. A truly wonderful experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. I was a little scared at first, but as the game played, I was more and more relaxed. I finished 13 in this tournament, but I was happy with the game. Greeting!

I think the entry fee might have been something like $150. I didn't fair too well and just wasn't myself. It was obvious I needed to do something to relax and for me that meant playing in some small stakes tournaments at the hotel I was staying at. I learned that I could do pretty well in those tournaments and then in a few days I tried another larger tournament (still relatively small stakes) and did much better. I didn't cash but at least I made it through a couple of breaks.

Hi.
I started playing poker three years ago.
The first year I lost all the time, and spent about 100 dollars.
Then, gradually, I began to improve my own skills, and now I already get revenue from the game.
Good luck.

When I first started playing poker for real money, I was very nervous, but then when I started winning cash games and small Sit & Go tournaments, then the game became even more interesting for me, now if the card plays well in my game then I jammed prizes and this is great for me, I had the very first winning tournament when I took 1st place in the Sit & Go and got about $ 20 and I was very happy and very nervous!

Congratulations on a good start and continue to play just as well, I, unfortunately, do not remember my first experience of the game, it was a long time ago, and it was freerolls.

I love poker so everytime that I am going to play I feel really excited. At that time I didn't have a camera that record but was similar to this .

I was wondering what it is like to play in a casino for real money, now that I've got the legal age to play for real in my country I would definitely give it a try.
Before I have played it a lot with friends for just a little bit of money. Most don't know strategies or things like AA>KK in percentages and so on, but that's what makes it easy haha.
Also I know some people that have been to the casino to play poker, they know the basics of the game but not the tricks on how to read others so I think for us (people that are already active on forums etc...) we could have a good chance to beat them. We are already ahead of these occasionally gamblers

I played cash game $1/2 dont know why. It was intimidating and when I asked what a straddle was all the players came after me looking at me like I was steak. The worst thing happend I won $1,500 kept hitting 2 pair junk. I went on to lose about $5,000 in next year.

I cannot lie too , I was so scared , had a lot of fear , and first session I lost all buy-ins I used, but I found out that , I didn't loose it because I was bad , but nearly all the situations I was unlucky .. Later I came back to live sessions , and did pretty well .

Way too relaxed

When I was playing live Poker for the first time I wasn't actually nervous, I was way too naive.
I don't really remember but I think it must have been a tourney with an entrance fee of 50€. I wasn't actually playing so bad that night but didn't finish in the money. I played cash the same night, though, and won my buy-in back and even a little more.
I think that happened because I just looked like a woman who doesn't actually care and just wants to have fun, so people (esp. men) tended to underestimate me and my decisions.

I think I lost that attitude soon, and it became much harder to win anything

Happy days.

I never had the opportunity to play live tournament. I did play with my friends for little $$, but I would love to take part in one. It would be a whole new experience and I believe it is way different from playing online.

I was around 4 years old. When me and my brothers and sister would go to Nan's house she would dump out the penny jar and teach us to play poker. We got to keep anything that we won. I wasn't nervous about the game at all.

My first live poker experience was playing cash games in a casino. I was a bit nervous. I was acting out of turn, making wrong bet/raise sizing. I hid my cards on accident a couple times. I would lose value because of not being comfortable playing live or not being able to keep track of the pot size etc.

After a while I got more comfortable and started to play more smoothly. It's a difference experience playing live instead of online. I feel that it gets more easier the more you play live though!

Amazing! I felt like I was on some movie set playing with Teddy KGB in a dingy basement in an industrial area with blinking fluorescent lights...

I made so many mistakes! Forgetting to post blinds...not understanding raise sizes...

Not even able to judge or analyze hand values--did I win or not?

Nonetheless, soft field, I made $265 with 2 FH's and a set, with one $100 buy-in...

I was hooked :)

I was very nervous and lost because I had little knowledge yet about the game. I played a 30-real tournament here in my city, and I was so lucky that I was able to make the final table and stay in sixth place. It was a very exciting day for me and I still managed to earn some money!
