Hello all, I know i haven't been posting in a while, this has been a crazy summer so much to do. Anyway i just wanted to let you all know that i will be heading for my first trip to vegas i leave tomorrow and come back on thursday at midnight. I've got a good plan for the casinos i want to see and play at. The plan is 15-18 hrs of poker each day so i should get my fill...
If anyone has been to vegas and has suggestions of "good" rooms to play in or cheap/decient places to eat i'll take them.
I plan on getting a chip from each room i play in only going to be playing limit poker, if we are running well and i feel like i'm on my game i might even move up and take a shot at the bigger game 4/8,5/10. I sure hope i can take a shot.
I'll try to come up with a trip report when i get back, but while i'm there i'll have my computer so i should have time to throw up and update. If anybody else is out there and would like to meet up just pm or post here and i'll get back to you.

Welcome back Xandit good to see you.

It's been awhile since I been to Vegas, and I know prices have gone up of course but you need to check downtown for alot of the "old Las Vegas" food specials.

Anthony Curtis(well known on The travel Channel) Has an online site called Las Vegas advisor. You can get some free info there but I think most of the information cost(I get his free Question of the Day) which has a lot of good info. If you do decide to pay to join there I think you get some really good coupons also(probably too late for this trip I suppose though)
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/

Other than that you may go to each hotel site and look to see what's available on the food special etc.....

Have fun and can't wait to hear the travel report :)

You can also pick up a copy of "Poker Lifestyle" magazine.. I think that's what it's called. It has all current vegas tourneys listed. Plus some good articles.. not a lot in the way of strategy... but if you're a card player, and you wanna know what's up in Vegas. Great mag.

Wishing you nothing but good luck and I'll know you'll have fun..I love all of Vegas and have to admitt that I done better money wise in what they called "Old Vegas". It's what you enjoy and feel comfortable at. I just wished that I had enough to go into each and every one to play but too many of them for my pocket change....lol..

Having gone out there for the wsop this year, I wholeheartedly agree. Vegas is awesome, especially the WSOP. Every serious poker player must make the trip AT LEAST once.
