first time LivePoker as an Onlineplayer

Hey Guys, i am playing online poker since about 1 1/2 years now, do u have tipps for me when i go for live poker? Which outfit do i choose? ( are sweatpants allowed? maybe sunglasses for the first time? ), at the PC i always scream when i win a flip or something like that, should i be carefully there or just be how I am ?

It depends on where you're playing, but generally speaking anything casual is fine. You'd probably want to dress sharp or have your own style if you're going to be playing big tournaments or looking for sponsorships. Sunglasses, hats or anything else are perfectly fine. Definitely don't scream if you win coinflips, it's super disrespectful towards other players.

I see players on live tourneys wearing outrageous outfits. I guess they do it to hide any tells the other player might see on him.

Wear something casual and comfortable. I'd suggest layers too... casinos can get real cold. I prefer a hoodie on top of a tshirt or something like that.

Also yeah, try not to scream at the poker table lol.

I have a question - why are you going to the casino? After online poker, it will be very boring ( in my opinion) !

Wear what you want, relax. Don't act out of turn or flip your cards over early.

I think you should be yourself, but do not violate the generally accepted rules of etiquette. Just try to focus as much as possible on the game and do not pay attention to other details.

Don’t worry about wardrobe...you see pros at the final table of a WPT event in shorts and a tee shirt. Sunglasses will not help at this point. The reason for them is to cover the pupils of your eyes when they dilate during times of stress. The thing is...your pupils will dilate if you have quad aces or if you are bluffing with nothing...who can tell the difference?
Absolutely NO screaming when you win a pot...just be cool so they think this is normal for you.
