The pros aren't outraged because they're in it for the title and bracelet and the amatuers are there to get lucky and hopefully get money/bracelet. Otherwise they'd start a union or ban the event if they felt the royalties were greatly unjust which would probably amount to nothing because 8k people aren't going to sit out of the WS Main Event just to protest telecast money. It's probably in the rules when they sign up . . . if they didn't like what they were getting in winnings, then they probably shouldn't have signed up, and instead, protested it. It's all worked out between Harrah's and ESPN/Disney, IMO, sure you could want more, but it is a fair deal. What we should question is the amount of taxes U.S. players get killed with.
