Any good links to proper etiquette for casino tourney? Is it okay to chat people up or is it all prim and proper. Kind of funny I have never thought of this before. All the penny ante home games I have played in were always fun and plenty of good times. Just wondering how rowdy you may get at the Casino

Try this: https://www.casino.org/blog/17-unwritten-rules-of-poker/

Not specific to tournaments but general poker etiquette. For me personally....don't be rude, don't be an a$$hole, and don't "tap the glass."

I always tried to be decent and respectful of everyone without stating religious or political points of view and refraied from vulgar language and never had any problems.

If you're in tourn and having a conversation with your buddy thats two seats to the left or right of you then its a good idea to be courteious and stop yaking if the person in between you two is in a hand.

If you're playing a cash game you should offer to switch seats with the person between you two and if they say they're ok and don't mind staying there, then still pause your chatter when they're in a hand.

I have a question regarding Poker etiquette and curious about your opinion. This happened a couple of years ago in a (very) small tournament.

River was dealt. Player A first to act.

Player A puts Player B all in on the River.

Player B instant calls.

Player A says: "good call, you got it" (but doesn't mock his hand)

Player B: "Your first to act. I want to see what you have

Player A argued way too long as there is not action left. Player B insist that Player A has to show first. The dealer confirmed that, but almost needed to get the floor involved. Player A then mucks his hands.

Player B shows the nuts (4x 7's)

Player A accuses Player B of slow rolling and says something about bad Poker etiquette. Player B argued that information is key and he wanted to know how Player A was playing.

The table was surprisingly split into 2 sides. I personally think if a player can be accused of bad etiquette it's Player A.

What do you think?

Absolutely agree…player A is out of line.

Maybe I’m getting too old for this much drama. Player A was being an ass and so was Player B. These sorts of BS-athons don’t/can’t happen online. The computer dealer wouldn’t stand for it.

Be friendly, don't get into arguments with the staff and other players.
One basic rule: silence is gold!

Playing in a casino would be ideal, but you have to know how to control your emotional intelligence

In my opinion it is important to be well balanced with your emotions.
Harmony is a key of concentration.
And one more important thing: in 99% it would be better to say nothing or just call manager if you dont want to be disqualified!
