Usually I try to read their hand by bet sizing. I play micro so if they quickly call they either have me beat or they're drawing. Play carefully, don't rush and watch out for river bombs.

I guess, you are asking, if we can fold in that situation, but you are giving very incomplete information. Like what are the stacks sizes of the players involved, what are the positions, what are the suits off all the cards, and so on. Without this information its basically just a bad beat story, which neither you or anyone else can learn from.

The think you have to remember is AK on a flop of A46 is top top but its not the nuts. So many players will put 100 or 150BB in the middle with that one pair and never think of the possible hands the other player could have. That is a good recipe to go broke with.

Bad beats happen all the time online but when ply with real people hands are lot different it just dont make sense the hands that come out when you are plying online it will make you shake your head
