winning at live poker

How many people do you think *really* win at poker? I feel like 12/10 people say that they are "still up a ton" after every losing session. I, myself, consider myself fairly skilled at the game relative to *most* of my live competition at 1/2, 2/5, 5/10 but I am also down lifetime. I would estimate that *maybe* 1-2 people in a full ring game or 1 person at a 6-max table in live poker are actually long term winners. Thoughts?

I would say that it is the top 5% of players online that are profitable players long term, but live it is probably 8% as it is a little softer.
