What's better; pocket aces suited, or pocket aces off suit?

Just in case anyone is interested ....quite a few years back at the River Rock Casino in Richmond BC Canada, during a $$$ Tournament with Jackie Chan as the noticeable Pro a hand was dealt where a 5th Ace came up...someone had slipped it in the deck...and yes Mayhem occurred..

Did someone actually get 'suited Aces'?

suited pocket aces are my favorite starting hand. Then I also like K A 2 3 4 straights as well.

I'm not sure what it's called, I think it's called short deck, but in that game you can actually win with the ace 6789, I think they consider that a straight...

In blackjack there is a side bet option called perfect pairs.

I can't remember the exact odds but just matching your first two cards (for example let's say the number 7) I think the odds start at 7-1. Then if you hit 7, 7 the same color (red or black) the odds increased to about 15 to 1, but if you hit (for example) 7 of clubs and another seven of clubs, the odds are 36 to 1.

Now I can confirm that the odds of the perfect pair are 36 to 1 because I hit them once with $1,000 side bet in a high-stakes table.

Nice..pocket anything or pocket aces are the 1 of the best hands to have, they will never be suited tho..lol. I think ak suited is the most dominant hand to have because you can hit straight flush and rule ALL. 4 aces comes in 2nd, but they are both boss hands. Good luck 🍺.
