What are some tips to avoid tilting after a bad beat?

First of all stop playing , if you're out of the tournament lol , just stop take a break , have a cup of coffee or any drink , try later , because it happen to me , I loose more than I'm supposed to when I tilt after a bad beat

Was wondering what are some useful tips/tricks you use after taking a bad beat.

In the past I would drop down to microstakes and play like a donk going all in on every hand. It would even tilt someone else... kind of a like a bug going around and I was good. But nowadays I'm playing microstakes

depends.....bad beats are part of the game and as long as you can deal with it with the right mindset, no problem, just go on....
Though, as soon as you feel tilt will be on it's way.....immediately quit playing and go do something else....

I try to avoid playing the next hand (unless it's a monster). Bad beats happen to everyone. How we deal with it separates the good from the bad players. Taking a deep breath and try to forget about it.

After taking a bad beat, I recommend leaving the table for a round or two. If you're playing online, sit out and go watch some TV or something - just don't continue playing. Right after the beat is when you're most susceptible to tilt so it's crucial to get off the computer ASAP. While you're taking a break, reassure yourself that you played the hand right, and that it was just bad luck.
