What to do if luck leaves. A couple of councils from a pro?

If luck leaves me and I encounter several bad beats after another, I usually take a break.

For me there is no point in "playing bad luck away" because Im always kind of bad-tempered when something like that happens.

Luck has nothing to do with anything that happens at the table, is just a matter of mathematical probabilities and short term variance.

Think its like the ole fight or flight.

If you are experience an unlucky streak, either attack it by playing more or take a break.

Either way i think you want to make sure you are playing your best game.

Skip a few hands and watch the game. Do not rush and do not give in to provocations.

Trying to relax is important. If you stay mad and how the cards are falling, then you wont be able to focus clearly and play to the maximum of your potential.. Try some music, or meditating, just something calming to help steady the uneasiness
