What to do with $0.83?

Hey guys!

I just won $0.83 in a freeroll in which 6000 people participate. I ended in place 832 :)
The question now is, what to do with that money? I am new to the game so I would like to read more things before playing it. The other thing I thought was to play a few hands in a cash game or something that spent very little money, since I only have 8 points to receive my next chest in pokerstars.

Or is better to save that money and keep it with the freerolls for a while?
Thanks in advance.

I usually enter a $.25 or $.50 guarantee and hope to increase my bankroll. I continue doing this until I reach enough to comfortably enter a Sit & Go or cash game.

You are not rolled for cash games, you are not rolled for any game really.

If I were you, I would either keep what I have and play more freerolls to build it up, or just have 8 chance in the 10c 360-man.

GL with what you decide.

I think the same, right? I think I could read a couple of books and give me a few months to see if I can get more money from the freeroll tournaments.

I you haven't spent it already and still are willing to do it, try it with 3 spin and go's starting on monday if the spingo promotion is still ongoing. Maybe you reach at least the next chest and win some symbols. Otherwise there are some nice SAT Sit and Go's on saturdays for 0,08$ sometimes for the KO tournaments or Booster. No guarantee yet, but worth trying.

Taking this advice you will have at least 80 buy-ins. It is the best you can do and still play freerolls. You will gain some confident and as long as you are ITM will growing your future bankroll. Do not rush to Spin and goes or Sit and goes tournaments. Cash would be crazy.
Take slow but firm steps. Poker has no short roads.

You can play in a live 1-2 cent or a small sit-n-go or a small tournament. Probably best to save it up to play live.:)

What to do?

the game in roulette, all or nothing, I usually do it when I earn less than 1 dollar ... I bet everything to a single dozen in roulette, or triple the money or lose it!💰💸💷💶💴💵💰💸💲🎲🎰🃏

YES!! Exactly what she said here ^
Do NOT play the cashgame. You would want a minimum of 10 buyins ($20 to play the 1c/2c tables) and even that isn't enough (you could be the best 2nl player on the planet & still have a swing of 10buyins in short order). Also, if you're not very experienced you have a much better chance at playing tournament-style NLHE (sng's or mtt with smaller fields).

I you haven't spent it already and still are willing to do it, try it with 3 spin and go's .

To this I would say NO! Stay away from spin n' go's or anyother gambly hyper-turbo type game. Instead get into some deeper stacked, regular speed blinds where you can actually get a bit of play for your pennies and work on learning the game.

Personally I would look for a few of the cheapest SNG's you can find... OR just hang onto it and try to accumlate a few more $'s first in more freerolls.

could you please stop quoting parts of my SENTENCES?
You are completely right, no doubt, but I understood he wanted the chest!!!
As the jackpot is running hot, that could give him the chance to get 2-5 bucks if somebody hits the Jackpot.
In general I totally agree, before you play spin & go, you can better bring it to the casino, chances are more or less the same: It's just a matter of time when your money is gone.

Thanks for all your comments, I am learning a lot.
I will definitely focus more on the freeroll and collect what I earn. It will be difficult tho.

I am guessing your chest is red in color you will get almost no reward in it so you should not worry about chests right now.

My advice is to save your funds until you have $3-$5 then start playing for real.

You can play freerolls and play money in mean time.

Once you hit around $3 I suggest playing the 45/90 man $0.25 sng. They are very slow structured compared to others gives you plenty of play so you can learn more. Once you get over $5 you can throw in some $0.55 MTT.

Best of Luck

That will give you two .40 sessions at a .1/.2 table. I suggest playing a cash table and play only premium starting hands to get a feel for the game and allow yourself some time at the tables.

I would play more freerolls and get it up to at least $5 or I would play $0.02 sit and go's. :D

Most likely just play more freerolls.

I think that in this case it is possible to consider 2 options:
1. Tournament Sit and Go with buy-in 0.10 $.
2. Save bankroll by playing on freerolls, then play cash games on micro-limits.
