Which strategy to adopt in the various stages of a tournament, it is important to know that tournament play and what our level to play, many of us read advanced books on tournament poker and we want to apply these strategies is commonly understood that the more advanced it is knowledge acquired better have results, I think there is na clear difference on this and against whom we play, I think that strategies to tournament senior do not work on micros in the initial phases, but could start operating in the middle faces or final .
I believe the point he is trying to make is that if you learn a lot of really advanced strategies for professional stakes poker, those strategies may not work in micro-stakes poker because in order for a lot of strategies to work it relies on other people playing a certain way and that certain way may not be properly reflected at the micro stakes level.
My strategy to play long tourneys is to wait for a monster hand (AA AK QQ KK) and pray for some player raise and you re raise ,if he calls he has something as interesting as yours,so if the flop don't hit your cards than is better to make a litlle C bet ,If he insist in calling you so you have to count with luck and go all in or check.
it all depends on those who are with me at the table, I adjust to the dynamics and play so as to extract the maximum profit. And of course in different tournaments in different ways. But the only point is to win all the chips)
