any tips for a newbie like myself ive been playing every day for the past couple of months and. have made it pretty late into tournaments usually playing a lot of free rolls and have been playing 1.50 hyper 6-max and have been wining quite a few of those I just need tips for playing cash and finishing later in MTT and placing finals. I find I get sucked out late MTT with garbage hands vs my AK or better. any advice anyone !??

the only advise i can give you is the formats you mention require totally different skill sets.

6max hypers are more about icm, nash and shoving/folding ranges

MTT's include some of that on the final table, but mostly it's about chipping up in smaller pots as there is an aspect of survival in tourneys.


cash is just about making the most profitable move, you can reload whenever you want, so it's basically about postflop spots, and trying to maximise your value.


this is all very general, but the question you are asking could fill a 100,000 page book...
