Teaching your child to play poker

I did not expect such a question. Poker is a game of chance. Maybe you're still your children to learn to play at the casino. Children need to be away from poker. It's my opinion.

Why do most think that teaching a child to play poker is wrong.Is it wrong to teach a child to play monopoly? Don't you think it's wrong to teach your child how to gamble on real estate investments?
What about the board game Risk, god forbid if we should teach our children about global domination.
I could go on and find a stupid reason for many kids games as lame as the argument over teaching children poker, take your head out of your ass, it's a card game.

Yea I'm surprised by some of the answers in here presuming they are given by people I'd assume enjoy the game of poker.

I started telling my son about the excitement of playing poker and he took it up.
He is 25 years old, I think that this is the perfect age to start playing online poker.

I'd say poker at age of 10 would be fine, but start with easier games before. see, how many cards he can hold in his hand without letting you see them

Before thinking about teaching a child to poker, one has to understand one simple thing: poker is first and foremost a game of chance, and like any gambling, one can catch a person in their networks, roughly speaking. Many adults do not cope with the pressure from lesions. Many adults lose everything in poker. And many adults break their lives by playing poker. Knowingly in poker there is a restriction of 18+. Not in vain.

I guess there is no right age, but it can be a great game to play with family.
