Hey guys,

A very important factor in playing poker is knowing, or at least having an idea about your opponents tendencies. That will be crucial sometimes when you are forced to make a big decision.
So in this thread, we will discuss "How to play against a certain type of players".
Hopefully we can learn from each other and improve our game.

Choose any type of player you want and tell us what you think the best strategy to use against them is.
Or let us know about a type of player you usually struggle against so you'd get some helpful answers.

Alright, since no one had started, I guess I'll do it.

For many years , I had hard time playing against the maniac type till I came across an article somewhere that talked precisely about that. The advice was actually very simple. It only said to play as tight as possible and wait for a decent hand before you play back at the maniac, and it really works. I used to take chances with any marginal hand and suited connectors hoping to finally catch the guy who raises every hand and Cbets every flop, but that only made my stack shorter and shorter.
