one point not yet mentioned that suited connectors have as an advantage is that they are wonderful hands to have for lower flops.
for example, you have 89s on the BB. it get raised, another player calls, you call. Flop comes up 2 4 8 rainbow. you have top pair, mediocre kicker, but your draw missed completely. they often have stuff like AK-A10, KQ etc and missed the flop completely. in this situation I like to bet to try to get the pot right there against people that don't like floating. you only have to worry about overpairs.
