whats your standard raise from all SB/BB when holding a premium hand..let me paint a picture..you are SB, you are following a 3 bet of 2400 and you hold KK, you have 36000 in chips and the 3 bet villain covers you...the BB is a known loose aggressive player with a wide range and also covers you...whats your strategy?
i would snap raise whatever the minimum is above that (4800?) because i've noticed at the small stakes i play that it tends to seemingly piss off the opponents and they will go all in over the top. it would also be a low enough raise that if the BB has a good but not premium hand he'll think about playing it. i'd be hoping the 3-bet would reraise all in but if not i would be content to play poker hoping there is no ace on the flop.
I'm likely pop-it 3x their raise, BB wants to be aggressive and raise that, it either gets villain to shove or fold, if they just call, I'm shoving the flop if no A appears, and if their's a Pair of A's I'll still shove it. Either way it goes, I'm making at least a 1/4 pot bet on the flop, if I'm not already all-in preflop.
Thank you for your responses, i added the loose aggressive BB in there to see if any of you were at all bothered by a potential multi way pot..if this was at bubble time, would this change the way you play this..i think in some examples of player behaviour..some would fold.
