Считаете ли вы, что тем, кто еще учится играть в покер, следует избегать использования своих реальных денег, пока они не почувствуют себя в безопасности?
I think beginners can avoid spending their own money on the game, but the thing is that sooner or later you will still need to deposit your money to play. After all, free poker and real money poker are characterized by the strength of their opponents. A lot of weak players play free poker, to put it mildly. Still, I think you should avoid playing with your own funds while you are studying theory, and when you get to practice, you will have to make a deposit if you want to gain valuable experience.

If you know the rules, play with real money or freerolls. But only very small Limits. Perhaps tournaments are better for the start, because you can play a few hands for your entry. The problem with play money games is: there is nothing to learn. I wouldn't play real with play money.

I believe that you should play with your own money once you have learned the basics and the base of the game of poker. If you're a little afraid to play for real money, then playing freerolls is a great opportunity to increase your bankroll. But still, if you want to learn more and achieve some success, you need to play for money because the level of players there is completely different. And you will still need to make deposits of at least $10 to your account from time to time in order to withdraw money for your needs.

I certainly think there is some logic in learning poker using play money, however, it will only get you so far. I think play money is great when you're testing out a potential new site, so you can tinker with the software; buttons, themes, display, etc.. I think it's also good for learning the very basics of the structure and rules of the game.

Beyond that, I think you have to have a bit of skin in the game to really want to improve. Otherwise, it's just like playing any other computer game.

If a person really wants to play poker seriously, then yes, he must play for money, at least minimally, so to understand that his real winnings depend on his actions, and not just play chips, these are two big differences in the game.

I would not use play money to learn poker as teens go in with any 2 cards and do not mind playing all in 6 hands in a row with $2.5 million in play money.
Learn poker by entering freeroll tournaments to build a beginning bankroll and then head to the 1c/2c cash tables to figure out if you enjoy tournaments or cash games more.

Trying to consolidate all of the above knowledge in a game for real money is not the best idea, since, without any experience, you are risking your funds in any case. You can reinforce the basics in freerolls or by hosting a live game at home with friends.

Its definetly an option.

Great question.

Do whatever you feel comfortable with and whatever doesn't make you broke.

Play money is a good way to learn how a particular site works or to figure out the basics of a game, ie. razz , Omaha, stud. Once you are comfortable a better option is free rolls, no money at risk but one can actually win $. Do keep in mind that if you actually accumulate a bankroll playing free rolls most sites will not let you cash out until you actually deposit on their site.

I do think its a good way to learn the basics of poker but doesnt prepare you very well for when you want to start playing real money as the betting is tottaly different, in other words people dont care with play chips so will call with almost anything in there hands so no real chance of bluffing and with real money its the complete opposite as people will play there better hands.

Every beginner player can play in freerolls and not risk their own funds. Why waste time playing with conditional chips, if you can learn great by playing freerolls and, in addition, try to build your first small bankroll at the same time.

Hi there 🖐
In my opinion, playing with play money is not a good way to learn poker, because a beginner will acquire bad habits, which can hinder him later. I think a much better way is to learn the basics of the game anywhere online, and then try it out in practice on freerolls...

You need to start playing with chips, after that freerolls, and occasionally micro/low limits.

At the play money table, you first need to determine whether the majority of players are serious players.

In my opinion, I think so, because if the person is not insured, they will not be able to play well, I will evolve!

In order to be safe, and in addition to gain experience and improve your skills, a beginner should play freerolls. In fact, a beginner just needs to create an account on CardsChat, fulfill the conditions and get the Platinum level, and then just systematically play freerolls. In this case, the beginner will be safe and the beginner will have great prospects :)

It would be worth it (but preferably with as little money as possible) to experience how quickly money can be lost and to learn how far you can go with that amount of money. Even if you lost the bankroll at first, later you will be able to assess the weight of money.
