Because recreational players have a hard time folding a hand that they think is winning even though they are losing??? That for the rest is beneficial or harmful?

It is exploitable, opponent relying on luck & lack of information has to be good.

Poker is good because out of 10 players at a distance, 2 turn out to be in the black, and out of the same 10 players, 8 consider themselves not fish. That is why, by the way, you can earn money on poker.

Unpredictable

I find that the more "recreational" a player is
the more unpredictable their play may be

Players who are more focused on the win
tend to follow more basic strategy and tactics

Recreational players often don't have much strategy other than
"let's see what happens"

and so, may call inordinately large bets, and often go all-in with any hand
and occasionally "suck out" with their hand

But, if you play them properly, they may become tasty little Goldfish
to be gobbled up

nyum, nyum, nyum - cha-ching!! :)

For me, the advantage of having recreational players is that thanks to them I know what mistakes are important not to make, and of course, without them there will be no profit in poker.
