The adjustments you are talking about should be decided when you are at the table. I guess you mean adjustments like: "Today I'll add smaller suited connectors to my steal range on the button". This is a good way to experiment, but ultimately it has to do with who is at the table with you. Against an aggrotard in the BB you wouldn't want to steal with smaller SCs, but against nits in the blinds it will be outright profitable to do so, and it will be fairly straightforward to play postflop.
So while it might be a good idea that you have some default ranges in mind, it will always change depending on the opponents at your table.
