I have noticed, if a player bets $500, another player calls by going all-in for $510 and it's gets around to the original bettor who bet $500 he is then allowed to raise. This is wrong, is it not?

I don't know the rules for this because sometimes the site doesn't allow the player to raise, but only call or fold.

Well I don't think it is wrong. If the blinds are, let's say, 100/200 and that guy goes for a 500 raise, unless someone raises him for at least 300 he is not able to re-raise. So, even that guy had 790 instead of 510 and goes all in, in this case our original raiser won't be able to re-raise. And I think that's fair enough, even if it bring some callers, it is a part of the game!

it depends on the blind

Sila Blind is 10/5 if she can re-raise

but if they blind it is 100/50 or higher it can not

It is wrong. Any player yet to act after the all-in player can still raise and this would re-open the betting, but unless this happens, any player who has already acted can not.

Yes, wrong it is

If the raise isn't at least a blind higher, and in many games, at least double the current bet, it doesn't rate a re raise from the callers. :drunken_s

If youre playing in a live casino you can always ask your dealer if the window is still open to raise and he well be able to tell you based on what the house rules are but majority of the timer a larger stack can come over the top.
