I've been set aside poker for a while and paying more attention to my psychological state.
Now I'm back and starting with fundamentals.
I practiced by watching the EPT or the World Series, and pausing the show before it shows the percentage chance for each hand. Iíd count the outs, and figure out a rough percentage. Once you resume the tv poker, the odds will be displayed and you can confirm your answer.
It just takes practice, and youíll eventually get quick enough to estimate odds without pausing the Tv. A handy skill to have
This might sound dumb but it helped me. Set up a full board of omaha hi/lo complete with hero and villan cards. Figure out who had the best hand at first glance of each, for both the high and the low. When you can do it using that specific rule set hold'em gets automatic.
