What strategy do you use, that is the most helpful in winning?
I personally, tried tight and agressive. It seems convenient and helped me win.
Since, I encountered a lot playing really aggressive, and betting an enormous amount into
the pot, trying to intimidate me, which does. (do you have any tips to overcome the intimidation of calling big bets?) and I would love to hear about your style of playing strategies and tactics.

I'm convinced playing tight-aggressive is the best strategy for beginners. Betting large amounts in order to intimidate may work a few times, but the one time it doesn't work usually negates the winnings of the times it worked in my experience. As far as playing against someone who always bets way too big, you have to think about the odds and implied odds you're getting before making a decision.
