Hi !
I started to study poker strategy recently and found this interesting article : https://www.cardschat.com/strategy/poker-starting-hands/
In the content (Part 1), There is a chart that describes how to play an hand according the position that i'm in trouble to understand.

Capture decran 2022 08 30 a 135756

In the first left block (Unopened Pot - EP), I understand that we could raise every pocket pair, AKo, AKs, AQo, AQs, AJo, JTs, KJs.
What about AJs, KQs, KQo that seem better than JTs ?

I probably misunderstood.

Regards

The KQs is included in the KJs+ which makes sense.

The AJs is probably missing from the AJo+, JTs+, KJs+ row. In the current state of the chart AJs would fit only in the A8s+ section, and that would not make any sense.

The chart is probably manually made so it could be just a simple error.

If you scroll down the same page you can find another chart (Hands by postion Chart) that makes more sense with the hands in question.

Hi Nafor,

Thx for reply, I feel reassured to have understood how to read the ranges.
I'll keep studying a little bit more before playing for money.

Have a nice day
