Hello, what do you think about the management of the bank to play only 10% of the bank or even only 2%. Which of the two is correct and do you follow these rules?

I am strictly 2%, that's just me. I don't know where the number comes from, but it feels about right.

I am more in agreement with the 2% ..... although in my case many times I do not respect the rule as it should !! Good hands.

A simple and effective strategy for bankroll management is to always stay within the following limits:

* At least 30 times the full buyin (3.000 BB) for cash games
* At least 50 times the buyin for STTs
* At least 100 times the buyin for small to medium field MTTs
* At least 200-300 times the buyin for large field MTTs

Occational "shots" are ok especially for large field MTTs.

Yes, this is the bank you have for good and management, it is desirable to play part of it.

I agree with the bank of 2% for being more selective as to the other and the percentage is lower!

It depends on how much you have. If you have 10 bucks 10% is good. If you have a thousand 10% may be too much.

I think to play with 1-2% from your bank is better...especially in sngs and mtts

For online yeah 1-2% is a good general rule of thumb (depending on the stakes and your win rate).

For live poker 5% is considered okay if you're playing recreationally.

But BR only matters if you are a winning player, if your losing you'll still go bust eventually it'll just take longer.
