What sort of time do we recommend for each of these in general in tems of percentage split? What are you personally doing at the moment and what kind of stakes do you play at?
I'd class myself of somewhat of a beginner with some reasonably basic concepts already learned. Apparently most players are very heavily orientated towards playing time over study time, not studying enough if anything.
The past 2 or 3 weeks I'm the exact opposite. I've hardly played, and have become fascinated by theory instead. Even things that aren't particularly applicable at the stakes I play at. I won't lie, I'm like like with quite a few hobbies or interests I've been involved with in the past. I seem to be drawn towards theory over "doing".
