So, I'm new here; and I have been playing poker for a year plus some.
And I find my self enjoying more playing tourneys then cash games... But am I hurting any particular aspects of Poker, just because I don't enjoy playing cash games..?
Need some Help..?
Thank you!

I think this is just a matter of preference. I waffle between cash and tournaments, but overall I think I like tournaments more. I think playing live is the purest form of poker. At the same time, being able to play online offers you the chance to train the technical side of your game so much more. I think playing multiple variations of the game is good for you and allows you to learn different things. But, to your original question, I don't think there is anything wrong with live tournament play. I wish I could play some more.

Playing what you enjoy will probably be more profitable than playing something you are uncomfortable at . Try playing cash once in a while just to learn the differences in the games . After you learn them you might enjoy the game more .

The heading for this thread says is playing live tourneys only, bad for poker. I live too far away from a casino, so I seldom have a chance to play live. And few tournaments are available when I attend the casino, so I would most likely join a cash table on the days I can get to a casino.
