Hey guys, have you ever heard about Anette Obrestad?
She won a 180 man SNG without ever looking at her cards.

So i gotta try that out too :D
I put a yellow label on my screen in front of my wholecards and just
played without looking at my cards.
I didnt win but i went fairly deep - but the actual succes is not the point here.

The point is that not looking at my cards but only play the players i learned
alot about betting patterns and trusting my instinct when to bluff and when to bet and fold.

I can truly recommend trying out playing blind - you will learn alot :)

I will be doing the a few times a week to sharpen my instincts and will
maybe ill win one of them too one day

Poker is about learning and evolving - go for it boys and girls :bike:
Tell if you succeed!!

Have seen that before but from another player on YT some years ago.I like the idea plus you don't only play against the player but you have to bear in mind which is your table image.

It is like when you lose one of the 5 human senses , then the other become stronger in order to survive!Very interesting experiment!!!

Good Luck

It's a good idea to understand your range and your opponents range better. You should always be thinking about what range you're repping, so if you're weak in this area, forcing yourself to think about it by covering your hole cards could be a good study tool.

Interesting, I prefer to look at my cards and apply a bluff when necessary, imagine, it is very difficult to win looking at your cards, hitting something on the board is difficult to win.

I don't know that this strategy would ever be able to work at low-stakes, where you end up running into a lot of players that simply can't be bluffed. Going to showdown is absolutely a losing situation with this approach, so if anyone is paying attention and notices that you either always fold when you get brought to the brink of showing, or that you always have air when you do show, they would certainly be able to target you.

It's a cute idea and I'm sure it teaches you a lot about paying attention to other players, but ultimately I wouldn't say it's worth doing more than once.

Playing blind is a lot like bluffing.
You'll need to convince the villains to fold very often.
