Hello everyone;
Omaha Hi, or Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), is a game of big hands and even bigger incomplete hands. The pot limit betting structure makes all-ins pressure pre-flop impossible.
Except when you have AA-- or KK-- in your hands.
How do you start an Omaha tournament?

Thank U 4 Posting.

You point about no all-in preflop in PLO tells the tale of tournaments. We cannot steal blinds early so we must play hands that make the nuts and we must learn which hands we should be calling with and which hands we should be betting pot with preflop.

Knowing how our table plays is very important. If the table does not fold and plays any hand, the hands we should be potting and repotting preflop are only the very best hands.
Double suited AAKQ type of hands.

Double suited KKQJ is actually borderline on a table where no villain folds if they have an Ace early in a tournament.

Beware run down hands like Jd8d7c6h as your V's are playing all the higher flush cards and straight cards if you are in a no folding game.

Hope this helps

I've won a micro PLO sng , went to the FT of a pokerstars PLO freeroll tourney , I have played some PLOsatellites with no success , many times I tried the PLO cash games , sometimes great runs , most of the times losing to runner runner on turn/river or flushes lol . So PLO is not sth I choose to play , only NLH . PLO is very difficult for me , I have to study best starting hands , what to call/shove , positions , etc . Not interested for the time being

AAxx or KKxx postflop can get you in trouble , don't fall in love with these in PLO . Also , PLO8 I like it more rather than just PLO , although so many pot chops lol .

Such a dry flop ......second best Set/FH vs best set/FH on PLO , so frustrating when it happens against you , in tournaments or cash games , when you you have the feeling the other one has a better set/FH , even worse Quads , but you think you can't get away , you have to pay him as much as he wants ... It's really devastating when you lose to such hands . Can you get away from such a hand ?? I guess at least by playing passively you minimise losses ....

So good when you are the winner :) (thanks to this Chinese guy , these Chinese players are so loose , I mean on a tournament , or cash game , I would put them easily on c**p hands or big bluffs , just check some cards up videos to see how they play , this Chinese School of loose poker and their masters , LOL :) . Not talking specifically about this hand , but generally :)):fight:

Hello;
I am a beginner in omaha, and the cards I bet most are AA and KK or cards of the same suit as AK!
But thanks for the help.

During PLO paired boards don't bode well.
