No, don't quit poker use your brain to its advantage. I have a very 'sound oriented' brain which is even harder than your visual kind to cope with.
I need to actually talk to myself in a real conversation in my head to come up with hand odds. I also can do visual though:
picture four rows (suits) and 13 columns (since there is no '1' it is 13 even though A = 14)
Then picture the cards lighting up that will help you vs the ones that will help him (including ones that help neither of you which will mean the current hand wins, include this in the set that helps the current winner) this is the best way to visualize hand odds.
As for this situation, chunk together:
pair 4, pair K and a J on the side, suites are 2-2-1 so flush is impossible, etc etc
