Could it be that we can overcome tilt and bad streaks or we have to deal with these bad emotions over time and learn to control it ...

What do they do when they are on tilt, what is the most recommended?
options or add more
-they take a break in each session
- they stop playing until the next day
- listen to music that we like
- read some mental poker book
- exercise or meditate

I think we can overcome the bad streaks by lowering the level of the game or making more volume of our game in order to get a little better advantage of the variance.

Stop playing is a must. The other additions depend on more circumstances .For example if you already had very bad day and on top of that you entered tilt and now you stoped playing naturally you will play some relaxing music or something similar not exerting yourself additionally with mental poker book.

i think the best way to overcome tilt is to accept that things are going to happen that's out of your control.

bad streaks are going to happen. the more volume you put in, the more likeliness of it happening. everyone goes through it. bad beats are going to happen sometimes and they'll happen in spots where it's going to really sting at times, like the final table bubble or something. it's all part of the game, everyone goes through it, and if you continue to play, then you should expect it to happen.

also, it's understand that some bad beats aren't as bad as somet thing they are. it's important to understand equity and effective stack sizes because that determines what hands are playable.

lets say you lose ak < aq but aq only has 5 bbs. is it a bad beat? technically, maybe? but villain is so short stacked that this is a standard play to get it in. i don't think losing in standard play spots is a bad beat. lets say it's ak < jq for a 10 bb jam. well, ak is still losing 40% of the time in this spot. it might sting to lose when you're ahead, but you're not really far ahead.

i don't think taking breaks or leaving the table or doing something else to distract you from being tilted is a bad thing, but it doesn't address the issue and that's 'what is causing you to tilt'. when you start playing again, well, you're going to to be in spots where you lose or get bad beats and, if your tilting issues are addressed, you're just going to repeat the process of taking breaks and not fix anything.

i'm at the point where, no matter what happens, i can laugh it off because i focus on the more important things when i play. like long term ev and accepting that i'm going to bust out~75% of the mtts i play. the fact that i can shrug off losing with say, aa on a final table bubble against a player that has to hit running cards to beat me allows me to stay focused on the bigger picture.

it makes a lot of sense what you wrote, and I'm thinking about eating chocolate during games or breaks, I think it would help a lot!:D

The truth is that you cannot avoid tilt or bad luck, it is best to stop playing for that day because with that anger the only thing you will achieve is to lose your bankroll, I know it very well, unfortunately that situation happens with all the players is better look for a good movie or a good series to clear your mind and stop making mistakes, then analyze the hand that we lost, look for an option to not fall back into the same thing, that does not indicate that you will not lose but it could avoid big losses

For me, in such cases, the best option is a break for a few hours or even a few days. After a break, I always easily control my emotions and make good decisions.
