Is there any experienced players out there that would be willing (and able) to Sweat me tomorrow night. I have been playing mostly 2NL cash games. I know there are a lot of weaknesses in my game, but probably the biggest one right now is that I don't currently use the HUD. I have been trying out the Poker Tracker trial and have about 6 days left on it, so I would love someone to help me make some sense of it and help me feel comfortable with the HUD before I spend money on it. As well as looking into some of my stats to help me get the mind set needed to properly analyse my game.

Besides that I am just looking for general advice to help my game out, and to turn me from my current break even (or slightly losing) game, to being a winning 2NL player. I have read a couple of books so far (Harrington on Hold'em, and "How to beat Sit-&-Go tournaments"), and looked through a lot of forum posts on this site, so I feel I have a decent grasp of most terms and a high level view of the various concepts (basic concepts that is - position, paying attention to opponents, tight vs loose aggressive play etc).

If anyone is willing to sweat me, I would really appreciate it. Best time for me would be 8:30pm my time (I am in Mountain time) tomorrow night (May 13th), so that would be about 10:30pm Eastern time. I am of course flexible in that time if someone is willing but time does not suit.

Also, if you are willing to do this, and have some suggestions of what I should read up on before then, please let me know. Particular threads or a website or 2. I won't be able to view videos or practice concepts before then though as I will have to do it from work.

Could use a sweat this week.
Been kind of in a rut this last week and not much progress. Feel not focused when I play and as a result do stupid things.

Sweat for 25nl FR or 50nl FR please.

Why do you need to be sweated when you made this post in the donk quest challenge?? I thought you already have a winning formula ?

"BFW, don't listen to these guys on this thread, they obviously don't know what they are talking about. YOu have seen the results yourself and your method is obviously flawless. I think you should put some time into writing a poker book. There is big money in poker books and they all basically say the same thing "Play premium hands, Position is important, etc", the market is wide open for a book on your winning strategy, so how can you go wrong. I think a good name for your book could be "How to go from $0 - $10,000 without worrying about the cards you hold".

All of these so called "good players" that keep making snide posts your way only manage to pull in a measley 10 - 30 BB/100 hands (I think that is the range they aim for). YOur strategy is netting you 100BB each hand, I know the one I would prefer.

Keep up the good work and ignore all of these nay-sayers. When you get the first chapters of the books done, I would love it if you posted them in the forums here for me to read through and learn from. I promise to buy the book when it is published (I will put a little aside from my first 10K that I make using your strategy)."

Nope, far from a winning formula so far. Still struggling at at 2NL to get my game under control, only been playing for a couple of months.

That post was rich with subtle sarcasm, guess I need to drop the subtle part for some of our reader base though. Was hoping to bait him for some more posts that I could have a bit of a chuckle at.

On another note, if I was serious with this post that you are referring too, does that not show someone who needs sweating the most? I do not make any claims to my own poker abilities in that post, nor do I do anything but show an eagerness to learn (even if that eagerness is towards someone who clearly has no clue how to play poker).

This was not the intention of my post, as mentioned above, it was a sarcastic post, that I assumed most of the experienced members would be able to read through, but taking the assumption that it was a serious post, I don't see why it would lead you to believe that I have some arrogant attitude about my own playing.

I am still available for a sweating session this evening as outlined above. If anyone is willing to do that, please let me know. I will be playing poker on full tilt at that time regardless of a sweater or not.

Some of the donks around here would actually say that so for all I know a new poster could be saying this.

50nl FR plz.
I don't have any intention of ever going back to 25nl unless I start bleeding moniez at 50nl. I am way too hugely rolled ldo.

And let's get this thread back on topic.
Post your willingness to sweat or be sweated.
Post your limit if you want a sweat and the time you are available.

level got leveled ?

See Enty, you just got out-levelled on a level that is far beyond levelling. It only occurs in high stakes levelling... Jake obv knew the original level, and set the trap for low level droolers! Fait accompli :p

LOL and it looks like Jagsti walked straight into eNTy's uber level by leveling you into thinking that he thought that Jake was leveling the original level.

Hahaha...take that!

6-max is the devil. You'll all realize that eventually.
I'm playing a lot of 4-max now. So am I (Satan x 1.5)?

Btw, my internet is currently down. I can download hands & upload videos from work, but I can't play poker.

So I'm looking to do some serious session analysis. Send me 100+ hands that I can load into Hold'em Manager, and I'll make a video or whatever you like that gives you some advice on your play.

I also promise that I won't turn you into a crazy lag-tard. Send me a PM if you're interested (or respond in this thread). I'll go as low as $2NL & as high as 100NL, just no Sit & Gays please.

Or, Jake is just oblivious to sarcasm.

Well, it is generally best to think just 1 level above your opponents and often times the simplest answer is the correct one.

What are "average" stats at 4-max? 40/35?

Yeah, I run something like that. Its so table dependent though. 6-max, its hard for 1 person to completely dominate what the table plays like. But 4-max 200bb's deep, 1-2 LAGtards or 1-2 nits can make your playing style change dramatically.

I have Pm'd you, this would help me a stupidly large amount at the minute :D
