A few nights ago I played a game, and hit the low straight twice against the villian, rebought once, and it wasn't long before I had lost all my chips again.
It was very my first deep tournament-6 handed.

Against three or four players easily covering my experience and skill, any hand I made no matter how hard an effort I tried to hide its strentgh, they would not bite, even if I bet honestly. almost impossible... Almost.

I still might be tilted by the whole experience.

Still a very enjoyable game, being beaten by a higher straight is a new experience and I should have read the board more and put the opponent on at least having an A.
However the board paired with my already marginal hand and gave the villian the nuts.
Twice
I only play poker using my phone however, one day I'll begin to post certain hands for either the amusement or education of anyone who would be interested

Thank you for your time

Yea. Nuts on the flop don't hold up well for me.

Just curious, you say you should have read the board better, but are using a phone. Do you think if you were playing in a static situation using a larger screen (laptop etc) the board would have been more legible.

I have never played poker on a phone and can't imagine everything hits squarely between the eyes!

This is a very valid point, and yes the outcome of many hands Iplay might be affected by using the mobile application.
I don't recommend it.

In a 25c online tournament you are not exactly facing world class professional players, so I don’t think, they read your hands perfectly. Its more a case of them simply not having a hand, when you did, which is also part of variance. If you flop the nut straight, but your opponent flopped J high with no draw, that is not going to result in a big pot.

The main thing is to learn a certain lesson from the defeat. New experiences are always valuable.
