Watch some twitch streamers and see how they handle themselves, read some books on theory and learn the math.
Online is more of a numbers game with risky hands mixed in. Live is more about the people you're up against and how you play what you have over the cards (not that they're not important). But one of the biggest things is, poker is poker. You're going to lose, get sucked out, flop the nuts and not get paid, play hands 'perfectly' and still lose.
Also - if you're talking about no deposit freerolls, take play in there like a grain of salt. They cannot and should not be compared to games where you have something real on the line, at least not till the final table/bubble and even then is meh. Use them to understand the game then move on to something that cost a bit to get into once you've got to the money on a good amount. Stay away from play chips. You'll only learn bad practices from there.
Other than that, just enjoy the learning. When you first start you learn something new every other hand. I found that fun.
