If I had $5 bankroll, I would shortstack Pokerstars 2nl cash games. I once had $4 left and I did that, in 1 month I turned that $4 into $550.

What i did with the $5.00 frebee

Silly question, but if your bankroll was $5, what would you play to try and increase it (new poker player who can't decide what to do with free $5 given to me for signing up on Carbon Poker). I'm thinking either a Micro $0.02/$0.04 NLHE or a 6-Max SnG for $1 or $2, I'd just hate to go and blow it all w/o any kind of plan, ty!

I stuck stricktly to the nightly $100.00 GTD with a buy in of .10 +.01= .11 cent buy in total and the $25.00 GTD on Demand for .50+.05= .55 cent total buy in.I turned my $5.00 into $25.00+ in two or three weeks.
I would suggest very strongly to stay away from the casino games.Also use good judgement on knowing when to stop or keep playing for the day.If you go on losing streak ,stop and play another day.Thats my opinion.

micro stakes. play the micro. Wouldnt worry too much about it since its just 5 bux. But if you really want to try, i would say stick to micro tournament or sng. and play straight forward. the worse that can happen is that you lost 5 bux.
