Playing poker tournaments is a lot of fun. From trying to build a large stack to triumphing on heads-up, everything is very good. But if there is something even better than winning a grand prize, it is to do so by paying only a fraction of the price that others paid to participate in the tournament. Some players prefer to play tight early in the tournament, hoping to play only the nuts and wait for "normal" play after all these "maniacs" are kicked out. Not sure if this is the best option.
