In short, some are calm and can take the beats but most are angered (at least in the moment). I think the only way to buffer against variance is to play a volume of hands. There comes a point when the bad beats if you will are expected and even amusing -if you have a wry sense of humor.

You have to reach that crossroads if you are going to persevere long term as remaining perpetually tilted is not feasible. It about hundreds of thousands, even a few million hands - then you can develop a certain immunity to tilt.

Hello. I just get up and usually a glass of tea. By then I am ready to go again.

Focus on the process instead of the results. Understand poker is a game with variance, and things will happen that are out of your control.

I often take a deep breath to control my emotion. If I don't feel better, I will take a break the whole day to relax maybe spending a day to review and will be back when I feel ready.

no time to tilt, there's always another day, another game.

If you are on a losing streak, take a micro-break, walk to somewhere close, kitchen, for example. Now, you're away from the table and can take a deep breath, get a snack or drink.
After the micro break, when you come back to the table, things may change for the better.
Also, think big-picture.
Even when you are wrapped up in the game, tilting is counter-productive, life is more than one bad beat; there's always another day, another game.

Elementary. I continue to play, patiently waiting for the next good situation and strong cards. I do not like to hurry and complicate my life.

How not tô tilt?

If there is a tilt, I stop playing, load my hand history into specialized programs for analyzing the game and see what mistakes I made. I usually find a lot of unnecessary actions.

It has to be cold and calculating

Nobody drinks tea here, but I will have coffee ... I will take the test hahaha

It is true in this game who coldly thinks always gives the best

80/20? This is the probability of hitting outs on an open ended straight draw with one overcard on the river, or the likelihood of your AA losing preflop. I don't think it's a bad beat. If you exhibited with such a ratio, then this is a good game and there is nothing to be upset about

I always think of situations in which I was lucky. Because sometimes you're the 80:20 outsider and you've won. When I think of these situations, it makes it easier for me to process the bad beat.

Tilting is only the first problem, if you go on tilt and make a recovery, you condition yourself to do that for the future, and that stays for a long time. seen friends lose week after week on tilt

I close the client and go to work on the game. This method helps you to believe in yourself.
