The amount of money you can earn per month playing $5.50 poker tournaments depends on several factors such as your skill level, the amount of time you dedicate to playing, the number of tournaments you play, and your overall win rate.

Assuming you have a decent level of skill and play regularly, you can expect to make an average of around $5-10 per hour playing $5.50 tournaments. This means that if you play 4-6 hours per day, five days a week, you could potentially earn around $500-$1,200 per month.

However, it's important to remember that this is just an estimate, and your actual earnings could be higher or lower depending on the aforementioned factors. It's also worth noting that poker can be a volatile game, so your results can vary greatly from month to month. It's essential to have a solid bankroll management strategy in place to avoid going bust and to help you weather any downswings that you may encounter.

It depends on a lot of factors. It's better to play and see at the end of the month how much did you make :)

I don't know to be honest if you can or can't. Yes, if you play enough, you can increase you winning Nicley. The problem is can you win 110 to 240 Buy ins per month as a profit? The last bigger tournament I won had about 700 players and I won about 110 buy ins. The money is mostly at the final tables. With 700 players getting to the final table one time in 77 tournaments would put you at about average. Also, can you play enough tournaments each month to win that much consistently.

Long term I do believe you can win decent money but consistently might just be too much to hope for. Would love to hear from other if they have been able to win that much per month as a avearge.

if you average $10 per hour for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week you would still only make $300 per week 🤪
add reality to that and you realize that it's highly improbable. you have to play much higher stakes to get anywhere close.

To win you always have to invest, but specifically an amount of profit depends only on you, your game and time.

Your numbers are very optimistic. If we assume an ROI of 20% and an average game duration of 2 hours, then 5-10$ per hour require, that we play 10-20 tables at a time. And this is as an average, since we will always be playing less at the beginning and end of a session. Of course you can pick more optimistic numbers, if you want to, but I think they are pretty realistic. Its going to be pretty difficult already to achieve a 20% ROI while mass multitabling, since you are running on auto pilot most of the time. And opponents are not that bad these days ;)
