I'm at 10nl and come all the way up from 2nl. That took a year. I think that is the only way to come out of the micros. Or you could deposit enough to take a shot at 25nl or 50nl. And what do you call micros? How much experience do you have? Let us know some of those things and we can help you better. Oh and welcome to Cardschat.com. You are without any doubt you are a member of the greatest poker forum that you will find. These players can help you with any problem you might want to talk about. Oh one more question. Are you a US player, if so where do you play poker. But I don't think think it matters if you are not a US player because you can play at any site I can and many more. Which ever, check out Full Flush Poker. They have a lot going on for any level of play, and they have the most and biggest freerolls. They have a $500 freeroll every Friday night and that is as big as many I buy into. And that is unheard of this day and time with the poker world. Anyway I'm sorry this is so long, but I get happy with my computer. LOL GL at all your tables.

I am so glad to know that this forum is here to help players get better. I find that so many sites out there seem to give advice related to higher stakes. I get overwhelmed trying to understand it all and sometimes it hurts me more than helps. So far I have found a lot of good advice on Cardschat. Great forum for sure!!!

I play alot of micro stakes playing 4 max zoom/rush games, i always do well enough to keep my account running with a nice BR and slowly i have done the same on about a dozen different sites, i took training with Nick Wealthall and was advised to play normal cash games to get more of a winrate and it has helped as with zoom you don't know who you can face, well you will have an idea if you play alot who will be there but you can't choose to see who is on your table and that is a huge factor if want to earn more, i do ok playing zoom but i don't earn more than i do playing normal cash games, there is tons of stuff out there to read and watch and the game is changing that much also these days so got to keep up. ;-)

Before I came on to cardschat I was playing on Sportsbook poker (semi merge.....not sure what to call it) I play 10NL 6max mostly. I use pokertracker 4 and iholdemindicator to help me keep from making real bad choices. I seem to do good for awhile, then right when I think I am finally becoming a winning player, I get my ass handed to me as I watch my gains go right back down. I will check out Nick Wealthall for sure! Thanks for the advice.....

The micros are considered to be anything under .25/.50, but the .10/.25 is a lot tougher than it used to be. Although, it is still labeled as a micro it doesn't play like one. Playing the micros and not depositing is like serving a prison sentence. You should deposit on a regular basis and play according to your bankroll requirements. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Back in 2007, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson famously turned a zero balance on full tilt poker into $10,000. Earlier this year, Daniel Negreanu set about running $10 up to $100,000 on pokerstars, starting with the $2 buy-in, $0.01/$0.02 no-limit hold’em games.

With good BR management and some solid fundamentals that you can learn from the vets around here, you should be able to breeze through the micros . Patience and a solid work ethic will go a long ways to quickly being able to transition through the micro stakes . GL at the tables

Good BR management is key and if you put in the work and don't play scared you'll do ok, poker is changing very fast though so even the micros aren't as easy as people think they are, there is players who are actually decent players at micro stakes, the 10/25 stakes are pretty solid also nowadays but that's part of the game, you just have to adapt. ;-)
