how many hours to play poker a day

how many hours do you think you need to devote to poker per day in order to improve your gaming skills in the game itself, not the theory, but the game structure and how many hours exactly do you devote to playing poker, I personally spend about 5-8 hours a day at the poker tables

I spend 8 to 10 hours daily on poker but half of that is studying. My wife laughingly says it is my only hobby and she is right. Good thing she got me into the game when I retired because she understands the draw it has. BTW, she is a damn good player , better than me.

wow are you retired and still playing poker this is amazing and worthy of respect you are great what success do you have in poker or have you not won big tournaments yet and how long have you been playing poker ?

then I would advise you to play a little less because you may not feel tired because the excitement is higher than your fatigue until a couple of times until you start losing a lot play better 1-2 tournaments a day or 3 and stop after rest take care of business in the evening you can play a couple more games but don't stay too long playing one after the other so you lose everything

If I have free time, I play tournaments. This takes 4-6 hours. If you don't have enough time, you can play cash for 1 hour. Do not sacrifice other important things.

I think the ideal is to dedicate a couple of hours playing poker, but also to study the game. I usually play around 4-5 hours daily and try to study at least 20-30 minutes when I can.
